I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a designation of Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP) serving Lebanon. I am certified with the National Board of Certified Counselors. I began my career by providing treatment for those struggling with substance abuse in a residential substance abuse setting as well as an intensive outpatient setting in Nashville, TN.  I provided individual, group, family, and marital therapy for substance abuse, dual diagnoses, and the severely and persistently mentally ill. As I continued my professional career, I expanded my work to include children and adolescents. I specialize in working with adults, children, and adolescents who are struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, and anger management. I am experienced in working with personality disorders, family conflict, and developmental disorders. I have knowledge and experience working in coordination with court systems, and also within school systems.

I offer psychotherapy for individual adults or children ages 16 and older. I approach therapy with a Person-Centered approach, which recognizes that everyone is an individual with a unique history, strengths and potential. I also will utilize a Cognitive – Behavioral Approach and will work with each client to identify patterns and develop realistic solutions to their issues. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which enables people to heal from symptoms and emotional distress and are a result from disturbing life events.

I am also an approved supervisor and would love the opportunity to supervise new graduates working towards licensure.

I strongly value seeing every client as an individual. I find genuine enjoyment working with each client and believe it to be a privilege to be a part of every individual story. Beginning therapy can be a challenging step towards a more positive future. Taking that step is vital to growth and future happiness. It is an honor to be a part of that journey.
