Providing Professional Counseling in Lebanon, TN
MAI Counseling Services LLC
Paymun Najmi, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified through the Tennessee Board of Social Workers. I am a Nashville native and I have been fortunate to provide therapeutic services to adults, children and adolescents within the Greater Middle Tennessee area in a variety of professional settings. Through my experiences in the mental health field, I have learned about numerous barriers individuals and families have faced in accessing and securing mental health treatment. I believe the biggest step has been taken, when through these barriers, you have sought out support and assistance to make a change in your life. These changes may include, but not be limited to: seeking improvements in mood and thinking patterns, motivation to adapt behaviors, learning skills to manage life’s stressors and improving relationships with others and ourselves. I have had the pleasure to assist in meaningful change through my experiences in working with individuals, couples and families. I believe that you are the expert in your life and are fully capable of creating the change you want, I just want to be there to equip you with the tools and help guide you there.
I am currently providing therapy to individuals of all ages, couples and families. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, family/marital problems and individuals/families experiencing life adjustments and transitions. My approach to therapy is to provide a warm, supportive and nonjudgmental space within a person-centered model. I primarily use techniques and interventions consistent with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy while integrating components of Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy Skills Training, and trauma-focused interventions. I will work with you in a collaborative manner to tailor your therapy to your needs and preferences. I look forward to witnessing your healing process.
Paymun accepts Aetna, Cigna/Evernorth, BCBS, Optum/UHC, and UMR. For self pay, sessions are $100 for 50 minutes.

Erick Farmer, LPC-MHSP
Therapy is an experience that I have seen from both sides, as a client and clinician. This is why my approach comes from an empathic, relative point of view. My belief is that a client knows more about what they need better than anyone else. However, we all need guidance and assistance at times to help unlock our potential. My therapy style can be unique to some, but it is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade. Through this experience, I have learned that each client has their own set of core beliefs, maladaptive coping skills, and a significant barrier to obtaining the life we deserve is difficulty managing uncomfortable emotions. Because of this, I aim to aid clients to grow comfortable with feelings in the moment during sessions, and over time, gain confidence understanding that emotions do not harm us. As a result, we can work to change these unhealthy behaviors one may use to numb and escape feelings that are destructive and harmful. Along with my master’s in education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am a certified Addiction Educator as well. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults (18+). Healing is a marathon, not a race. And I look forward to accompanying my clients on this journey to discovery.
